Easy tow path from Bishops Stortford Park (easily reached from station), follow river to Sawbridgeworth. The Railway hotel is situated next to the train station at Sawbridgeworth which serves food and drinks (not a great pub garden), but ok whilst waiting for a train.
Train runs every 30 mins back to Stortford on the Cambridge line, cost about £3.20 pp |
