Scouted the route as part of a charity ride. Pretty easy going, despite, taking the old MTB which needs servicing and some mud guards.

Probably shouldn't have riden back through Frankley. But it's all good when it's for work.

do this route most weekends but take the worc's and b'ham canal when you get to kings norton towards the city. once in gas st you can go anywhere in the west midlands.. soho loop is good.

Scenic cycle route via norhfield and kings norton. I do this route twice a week and find it easy to navigate. Blue cycle signs are easy to follow.

Used as route to attend the SkyRide!

An eye opener to what city centre routes there are.

I''ve cycled this route a couple of times from Northfield to Selly Park. It''s fantastic for families - a short section is along the canal but the path is decent. You feel like you''re right out of town as you ride through meadows and parks, with plenty of nice places to stop for a rest, a picnic, a playground, and perhaps an ice cream.

Rode the whole route from Longbridge into B’ham city centre with my 6 year old lad, on our BMX’s - he loved it!!
