Starting from Morrisons and using the Promenade Path to run along the docks, the route goes towards the BNFL terminal and then along the causeway of Cavendish Dock towards the power station, then following the coast along an easy tarmac path at the rear of the Gas Terminal, before coming out at The Conicle in Rampside (Good food and ale).
Back along the coast towards the coast road round about and then back into Barrow turning off towards the Water Treatment works and rejoinign the causeway and back to Morrisons.
Sounds very industrial and it is but mirrored by the coast too |
