| 1. This route is on the national cycle route 6. For mountain bike NOT road bikes! It is varied terrain from small tarmack road to small forest dirt tracks. This route passes through Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Sherwood pines, Warsop, old Clipston, Mansfield, Rainworth, Blidworth, Ravenshead, Newstead Abbey, Hucknall train station. Route 6 goes on to Nottingham and beyond but I haven't cycled it yet and when I do I will update the route. Great ride with plenty of places to stop and admire the scenery. |
