| A circuit I do in summer/autumn, strictly mountain bike. There is one section of the Hill of Fayre near the base where you will have to carry the bike for a hundred yards or so. Sometimes I may deviate and cycle through the firetrack to Midmar instead and back past Echt. This is easier. A harder circuit for road bikes instead of mtb, is to cycle right round the Hill of Fayre past Echt, Midmar etc. which I also do sometimes. |

| Tea, coffee, snacks, shop at Schoolhill (Flora's Cafe) before tackling the hill, Raemoir Hotel, Banchory detour, Hirn Recording studio. Apart from that, nearly all unclassified roads and rough track. |
