| This is a road based route, mainly on A roads, from Lambeth to Richmond Park, which has a couple of good hills to train on. The route takes the A3 to Clapham Common and Wandsworth. You then follow the A205 to Barnes Common, where you turn left into Priory Lane and head into Richmond Park. The park has a couple of good hills to train on and you can circuit this as many times as you like. Follow the route back to Wandsworth, but this time take the A217, then the A3205 through Battersea and Nine Elms up to Lambeth. Go left onto Wandsworth Road, A3036, and then right into Kennington Lane. Take the right turn onto Durham Street, A202, and follow the A202 around The Oval cricket ground. Turn right back into Clapham Road, A3 and head back to the start. |
