Cycle Steps
Start at Erskine Ferry Road junction with national cycle route 7. Cross over the canal bridge and turn left. Then head up the Lussett Glen (opposite the Glen Lussett Pub) and over the Erskine Bridge. At other end of the bridge, head down onto Erskine Rd and cycle through Erskine Hospital and Erskine Park until you get to Chestnut Ave. Follow this till you get to Old Greenock Rd, then follow this until you come into Port Glasgow. Head down Broadfield Ave and cross the roundabout into Boglestone Ave. At this point you can join the national cycle route 75 onto Gourock. From there you can get a ferry over to Helensburgh, Kilcreggan or Dunoon.
