Cycle Steps
This is a pleasant road route, on A roads and country roads, with one fairly difficult climb up to Kirk Merrington itself. There are spectacular views once you're there though, all the way to Ferryhill. It is mostly downhill from Ferryhill to Rushyford and then one long, but relatively easy, climb back to Aycliffe. All on roads are well signposted.
