| 1. Starting at Moherwell head for Hamilton and go left towards Larkhall. Head towards Ashgill where the country roads are quiet. On to Netherburn, Draffan & Blackwood and a decent little climb up to Auchenheath. Down the valley and double-back along the Clydeside to Garrion Bridge and the tough climb up the Horsely Brae. A good test. Main road back into Overtown, left at lights to Gowkthrapple, left towards Netherton and down Shileds Road to finish back in Motherwell.. total distance @ 30 miles |
