Cycle Steps
This is a short, but demanding route that gets you out of South Birmingham and into a few country lanes. It loops via Longbridge, and Lickey to Hopwood and Hollywood. The route gives you a pretty vigorous workout and, at around the halfway point, it takes in Rose Hill in the Lickey Hills. So make sure you save plenty in the tank for this.

Really enjoyed this route, thanks. I've tweaked it a little for my own benefit - avoiding the Redditch Road, for example.

It's good to get some good hills in so close to Birmingham and also heads through some lovely countryside.
