County Meath is located in the east of Ireland and is in the Leinster province. The town of Trim, in county Meath, houses the largest Norman castle in Ireland. The county is also home to the World Heritage Site of Palace of the Boyne, which is a very large pre-historic megalithic site dating back to between 35th Century BC and 32nd Century BC - that pre-dates Egyptian pyramids. If you're interested in history and historic intelligence, this would be a great place to visit.
