| This is a relatively flat c.30 mile "loop" out of Luton towards Bedford on A6 turning left at Clophill roundabout and going to the Amptill roundabout. Continue over on A507 up to turn left at the Millbrook crossroads. Contunues past Flitwick Leisure Centre on left and up to and over the Tesco roundabout. Continue through Westoning and over the MI J12 UPHILL into Toddington. Continue past the Chalgrave Golf Club on left and DOWN STEEP HILL...be careful !!...before going uphill to turn left at the T-Junction [traffic lights] Houghton Regis. Continue past the green on your right to The Chequers pub on right [very busy traffic] and turn right at roundabout. Continue to take Poynters Road [past The Centurion pub on right] to traffic lights. Turn left into Leagrave High Street and follow that road through to become Grange Avenue. Under railway bridge at bottom of hill and the old Four Horseshoes [now a McDonalds !!] roundabout. End of trip !! ENJOY !!!! |
