Its starts flat with a nice ride along the Lough Neagh shore, it then climbs steady up to Cave Hill outside Belfast then a long descent and fairly flat to Lisburn then Moira. It gets hilly and fairly tough across to Dromore from Moira, a few more climbs on the Dromara Hills until you get to Banbridge then a nice flatish roll back to Lurgan.
It is a tough enough route but rewarding with lots of beautiful scenery and you do get a nice warm up for about 20 miles at the start. |
