It's a bit hilly to start with, but the views are worth it. We really enjoyed going through the offroad section.

I thought the part from Woodhouse to Woodthorpe would be a useful cut-off on my commute to work. Unless I have read this map very wrong the route here is a footpath not a cycle way or bridle path. At one point it took me over a ploughed field in which the farmer had re-instated the footpath by driving over the route - fair enough for walkers but a disaster on my road bike.

Not sure if I have read the route wrong, but as far as I'm aware that bit shouldn't be cycled on, especially not with a road bike - eg a commuter. Sorry if I've read the map wrong.
