| I loved doing this route esp after Waltham Abbey. Its great to see how the canal's ladscapes switch from the post-industrial derelict warehouses of Tottenham and Enfield to the suburban idyll of Essex/Herts before turning into the green belt at Ware/Hertford | ||

| Really enjoyed this ride yesterday. Really flat so easy going all the way. Possibly due to the Olympics a lot of the paths in London have been re-laid along the canal which made it a nice fast journey. Really nice once your out in the countryside. Stopped at a pub on the way called The Crown. I really DO NOT recommend going in there. I thought it had poor service and poor food, plus no food in the garden (did not understand that at all!). There are other pubs not much further along so keep going. Thanks for posting this! | ||
