| I haven't cycled this, but am considering it as a commute. But first wanted to hear from anyone who does. How do you find the A26 as a cyclist? Is there a cycle lane on this route at all? Any feedback would be great. | ||

| Hi, there is no cycle lane on that part of the 26. There are some uphill bits but equally there are downhill bits. I did find that nerves of steel are required on a few stretches!! As e new cyclist am fast realising that cycling on our roads is not for the faint hearted! lol. As a commute it should be ok. | ||

| This is OK, but the quicker, safer and more attractive route goes through Isfield and comes into the North of Uckfield. Turn left at the Cock pub and then left again at the Lavender Line. | ||
