| Easy going until Alderly Edge, but a very steep long climb out of Alderly. Thereafter only moderate hills, but mostly downhill again. Nice scenic route on the return leg. My tripmeter read 36 miles, took 3 hrs with stops and map reading. 15mph avg. Mid 40s not especially fit but good road bike. |

On a nice day The Edge is worth a detour at the top of the climb out of Alderly Edge. Signposted.
