Cycle Steps
Mostly follows what passes for main roads in Shetland, however some of it is national cycle route. Traffic is not too bad, for it is after all Shetland. The route takes you from Bressay ferry terminal in Lerwick to Scalloway Castle (pick the key up at the hotel in town). On the way back, it takes another route to come into the southern end of town with a bit of off road over Staney Hill.

This is great cycling - but Murray if you rate these hills as 0 I won't be doing any of your 10's! Some long inclines, but the scenery is so good you won't even notice them. The uphills are rewarded with some great downhills which I savoured rather than sped down. Great extension is to carry on down Burra Isles - one of the best places on the planet
