Cycle Steps
Starting on A57 (Snake Pass) at Ladybower Reservoir there is a gentle climb to Fairholmes which is beside ther Derwent Reservoir Dam wall.

Follow the tarmac path all the way up to the Howden Reservoir where the path breaks off to a limestone path.

At the furthest distance from the starting point is Slippery Stones and after one last ascent the path leads down beside the other side of the reservoirs until you gte back to Fairholmes and then follow the tarmac road back to the starting point.

Lovely run, done it many times as I live local. You can improve it slightly by cycling down the eastern side of Ladybower to get back. So after descending the steepish hill after the Derwent dam wall (farmhouse on left) turn left at the road junction and just follow the road which turn into a track. There is an interesting visitor point along this track with details of the sunken village.
