This is a nice road route, on a mix of A, B and country roads, with gentle short hills most of the time. Only at the end up to Dunstable Downs is it a bit steep. The A5 trunk road is good for pushing the average speed up, and the detour through the back streets in Dunstable is offered as an option to avoid the busy main crossroads.
