Kelvedon to Knodishall via Colchester, Manningtree, Ipswich, Woodbridge, Eyke and Snape. Vast majority of route is via relatively quiet A roads (the busiest, other than a short stint beside the A12, is the A137 which is OK for traffic) and B roads. North of Colchester up to Ipswich and Woodbridge through to Snape is beautiful both for cycling (gentle rolling countryside) and views (plenty of open areas and woodland too). All in all a very enjoyable, scenic ride and useful workout.
