This is a road route, mainly on A and B roads, with at least one tough uphill section.
The route goes from Jordanhill to Dumbarton via A82 (Early Sunday morning). From Dumbarton it takes the A814 around the coast to Coulport. You then head through the trees, up the Glen Fruin Hill (tough) and down through Glen Fruin to the Arden Roundabout on the A82. Head down the A82, with a slight detour to Balloch, then to Dumbarton via Alexandria/Renton on the B857. You then head back to Jordanhill via Old Kilpatrick and Clydebank. |
