| This is a route to Dernwood Farm campsite, from Hove. I believe it to be the shortest and most direct route. | ||

| This is a good ride: the A27 at first, on a fairly decent cycle path all the way to Lewes. After going through Lewes you head on the B2124 to Ringmer which is a very enjoyable stretch. This carries on all the way through Laughton (where you get panoramic views of the downs. At Golden Cross you head on country lanes toward Chiddingly, before which you turn off toward Waldron (lanes include: stalkers hill, smithlands lane, dern lane). | ||
