Hampshire is based on Englands south coast where it attracts many holiday makers to its numerous seaside resorts. Portsmouth and Southampton are the two cities within the borders of Hampshire and Winchester is its county town. With its plentiful history, Hampshire has much to offer tourists and locals alike. The area boasts four castles and many forts along the coastline that were used to defend Britain, the castles include Calshot Castle, Hurst Castle, Netley Castle and Portchester Castle. Other areas to visit could be the South Downs National Park, New Forest National Park and the Beaulieu Motor Museum.
