This is a very pleasant ride suitable for timid cyclists. Lots of back roads through pretty residential streets and squares with many areas with traffic calming in place or on cycle lanes.
At a leisurely pace this is about 40mins what with traffic lights and not wanting to break into a sweat before work.
There are only a few areas where traffic becomes heavy, ie on major roads. Also it is not recommended very late at night, especially through the Popham Estate and London Fields Park, which feel very isolated.
Otherwise plenty of cyclists on the route, which is great for safety in numbers. |
