Gwynedd
Made up of three parts, this beautiful place was once called Old Kingdom of Gwynedd. Throughout the years it broke into 3 counties. Lleyn Peninsula is located on the western side. This place, only being 8 miles wide and 25 miles long has standing stones and hill forts. Ancient churches and holy wells dot the land that can be walked, fished or sailed upon. North Snowdonia is mostly mountains and lakes with the highest mountain in England and Wales being 3560 ft. South Snowdonia has the largest forest with plenty of mountain biking, lakes and castles.
