| Follow the Grand Union through Watford, onto Rickmansworth (try to time it with the canal festival, excellent) down past Gerards Cross and the lakes that line the M25, then down to the Regents canal and follow up through Little Venice and Regents Park. Have to come onto the road after Kings Cross coming back on to the canal at Angel, not clearly marked, but fairly easy to find - there's a great little pub, just past a bridge about 200yds from where you enter the towpath, nice little break, not too far from the end, then it is literally just under 4 miles to go, and only about 6 miles to Limehouse basin. |
