Best done on road bike, this route starts and finishes in the car park on Wishbone Way in Goldsworth Park. It takes you through Chobham, heading north through Sunningdale towards Windsor Park.
Once past Cheapside Court on your left, look for the South gate which marks the entrance to the park on this route. It then takes ypu on a tour of the park past several monuments, the lake, waterfall, Savill Gardens, the polo club, before exiting the park at Bishopsgate.
Heading through Egham and past Holloway college, the route paases through Thorpe Green and heads south past Great Fosters. The route carries on towards Chobham via Staple Hill (at this point, those with mountain bikes can head across Chobham Common for some offroad action), then doubles back on the orifinal route back to the car park at Wishbone Way, where it started. |
