| 1. This easy route is suitable for the whole family; it is traffic free and virtually flat. Trailers may have a problem as there is a width restriction in places, will need to spend extra time uncoupling a trailer |
| 2. Start at Riverside Road, Watford and cycle west through the community park. |
| 3. Pass the Sustrans milepost and you're cycling the disused railway track. There are some excellent views: passing lakes, croxley moor and meadows, over the canal |
| 4. The path is well marked and ends near Batchworth Lock. |
| 5. Visit the Canal Centre or watch the narrow boats, there is also The White Bear PH nearby,Junction London Road/Harefield Road sells very nice sandwiches and they have a covered sitting area next to the canal. |
