1. A 75 + mile ring route from Edinburgh taking in the Moorfoot Hills, Innerleithen, Galasheils. Bit of a climb up the Moorfoot Hills, but beautiful cycle down the valley to Innerleithen. Virtually car free the day I rode it, just 3 cars went past. Pretty countryside all the way although I found the cycle back from Galasheils a bit of a slog. It was rainy and windy though. It is a steady climb all the way from Galasheils, nothing serious just a bit of a grind, that may have been my 50 year old legs! The road from Galasheils can be a tad busy at times.


Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Great little river in the Moorfoot Hills valley but they may be a little early on. A pie and a pint is always an option in Galasheils
