I used this as a basis for a ride, as i was in Alva and don`t know the area. I had a map sp added some variations that you may or may not like. Here we go then. If you are not in Dunblane, but Bridge of Allan then head out past the Uni, just before the Sherifmuir roundabout turn left (signposted Logie Kirk ) head up the fairly steep hill, try to ignore the Sherrifmuir arms and keep going, and turn left about 1 1/2 miles past the pub to Greenloaning and join the original route.
When heading into Gleneagles take the first left after crossing the A9 ( signposted Duchally ) head for the village of Dunning and turn left signposted Yetts of Muckhart and another nice climb awaits before a whizz down the other side to rejoin the original route at the bottom of Glendevon.
