Cycle Steps
This is a road route, on a mix of roads, with a number of climbs. It starts off with a few hills on the way to New Abbey, then undulating until Dalbeattie. There are lovely views over Sandyhills and Dalbeattie Hills. The ride home is on an old military road, which has a few steep climbs, so save some energy for them! Any problems with your bike I would stop at NEXT LEVEL BIKES at Castle Douglas.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
I stopped for an ice cream at Sandyhills :-) and theres a choice of cafes in Dalbeattie, and a bike shop for any repairs etc.
