There was evidence of people as early as the 1st century. By 841 the Norse people had come in and settled. In 1759 the brewery of Guineas was started. By the 1800's the economy declined and through the 1900's most of the buildings were destroyed during wars. However, in recent years Dublin now has a high population of immigrants that are mostly young and single. The population for is over a million people. The average high is 13 C and the low is 6 C. It is the 8th most expensive city in Europe. Some highlights are the Castle Dublin, 3 cathedrals, and the old Irish House of Parliament.
