Consider the time of day to do this, we chose to go to Leith hill first as it was an evening ride and the roads to Leith Hill are quieter than Box Hill around rush hour.

It is a lovely ride with three good hills, Boxhill being the most gentle. The downs are worth the ups!

It took just over two hours of leisurely cycling and was a nice early evening ride.

The route is pretty much sign posted and it's worth having a look at an os map as there are plenty of alternative routes to go over leith hill, well worth exploring up there.

I'm sure this ride can be improved upon!
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Leith hill, Ranmore and Boxhill all the best parts of Dorking in my opinion. There are plenty of bike shops in Dorking town centre, Fullers, Head for the Hills and Bike Hut, then there is one at Boxhill and i cannot think what it is called. If need be there is another cycle sho in Westcott a slight detour again I don't know the name sorry.

Great ride, quiet road, great counrty sideand villages. Yes you are right about the hills challenging but not to much , good stop at box hill and picked up some home made jam and marmalade from a farm on the way.

I found this last week (I live in Glenfield Road) and tried it out on Sunday. Had to pause once on Leith Hill and twice going up Ranmore but I'll nail it next time.

Love this ride. Done it twice now. Difficulty depends on the rotation of the ride. Clockwise is more challenging than anti-clockwise.
