| Heading out of Dorchester on the B3150, this is a very steady, although lengthy, bike ride. The route is predominantly on country roads and takes you through some classic rural countryside from Dorchester down to Arne, via Clouds Hill at Bovington (on the edge of the Military training area). From Arne it takes you across the heath to Corfe Castle, here you will have the only major challenging hill on the ride (5 minutes of thigh burning and you're done). From Corfe it's a steady and undulating ride back up to Dorchester via Wool and plenty of rural lanes to Dorchester. |
