This is a leisurely road ride, on undulating B and country roads, from outskirts of Doncaster, through surrounding villages into the countryside. The map, time and distance only reflect a one way ride, from point A to point B. So the time and distance need to be doubled for a full return journey.
The route is nearly all flat, with the exception of the motorway overpass and a small hill in Westwoodside village before doubling back. There is an undulating road surface in areas, but it helps to keep the traffic speed down. Watch out for dust around quarry exit! |
