I am now 46 and have not been on a bicycle for some 30 years. I walked it up the hills and it took me 2 hours for the round trip. My arse was aching the day after, I lost phone signal all the way round and I realised it's best to ride with a freind, if you can. Even so, it was a great ride though.

The aching a!$e thing sounds about right as me and andy go round most weeks and it is a great ride even if you havent been on a bike for a long time

If you go round in the like we did dont shake your head to get the water off or you could end up having a crash or worse end up in the water and if you can do go round with a freind its more fun

I started using H 7 D as a training ground 18 months ago, my first time was 2 hours. I thought it was a dream to get to 1 hour but I just come in at 57 mins. Chuffed to bits.

In my opinion this is a perfect training ground for cyclists. In 18 months I got my time to down to 57 mins from 2 hours. At 45 im really chuffed with myself having never really been fit in my life.
