rolling smooth road into Abergavenny, then onto Heads of the Valley Road where there is a continuous hill which should only be atempted if you are an experienced rider or can handle long steep hills. Through Merthyr, Pontypridd, then into Cardiff. Onto the back roads into Wentloog and St Brides into Newport. Head for the Leisure Centre (Kingsway, then head for Caerleon. One more steep hill to Police headquarters and onto home straight. 84 miles in about 5 hours @ 15mph av
