| Cycled from Cloanaig to Campbletown down the Carradale road and found it the hardest 27 miles I have ever encountered in my life. Carrying 16lb on my back wheel though - my gear for a three day trip. However, even without the baggage, I think would still have found this stretch of road a real challenge on my Trek 4300, equipped with semi-slicks. Done the 37 miles on the A 83 no problem. | ||
