This is a not too difficult road route, that uses main roads and side roads, and has nice views of the City. The circle route goes out to Deeside and Shotwick Park, then comes back into the Bache area of Chester, nearly forming a loop. It then heads out again to Backford Cross, on the edge of Ellsmere Port, across to Helsby, down through Ashton and back to Chester, giving almost a second loop.
If you didn't have the time to do the full circuit, you could tackle the smaller or larger loop on their own. |
