The best way to cycle this is from Canterbury to Folkestone as the hills are not so punishing. I did this in just over 4 hours much of the route is on rural C and D roads through some perfect Kent Countryside

Difficult to navigate at the beginning in Canterbury, once out in the countryside easy to follow, very steep around folkstone.
