Begins on busy roads in Cambridge then to peaceful riverside and towpaths. Crosses over the lock at Bait's Bite and then around open fields, before hitting the fast road from Horningsea to Waterbach (make sure you're visible).
If your bike has super-skinny tyres you may need to dismount between the lock and Horningsea. The towpath is also not tarmac |
