Cycle Steps
Mixture of bike trails, road and single track. Through Burghead to East (back shore) follow disused railway track to Hopeman, follow Moray Coast Trail (some steps to climb!) past Clashach Quarry, follow coast trail to track south past WT Station (OS Explorer Map 432) to B9040, Left (East) approx 1km to minor road junction right at Covesea, follow road past SW end of RAF Lossiemouth, turn East to B9135, follow this road North to roundabout, turn right to A941, turn right and first left to Seatown, past front of caravan site, follow River Lossie and trails through woods past Coral Cottage exiting woods just west of Arthur's Bridge onto B9103, cross Arthur's Bridge and take first left and through car park onto forest road going NE (OS Explorer Map 424) follow forest roads until able to access Moray Coast Trail following shingle bank SE to Kingston (if rifle range is in use (red flags) this track may be closed). From Kingston take B9015 to Garmouth, follow cycle trail along disused railway over Spey Viaduct and follow Speyside Way to Tugnet (Spey Bay) visitor centre and coffee shop. Either retrace Speyside Way or take B9104 back onto cycle trail over River Spey, Garmouth back to Kingston and retrace route along Coast Trail, through forest to B9013, follow this road to A941 and retrace route past RAF Lossiemouth to SW end of airfield, continue along minor road past Duffus Castle (ruin) to junction with B9012, right approx 700mtrs to minor road junction, left towards College of Roseisle, follow road past East, Mid and Westbank to T junction, turn right towards Cummingston, past spot height 59 approx 250Mtrs to track left over Clarkly Hill, descend past masts to B9013, left to road junction and right back into Burghead.

Three pubs, shop and post office in Burghead, small coffee shop at Hopeman harbour, cafes and shops in Lossiemouth, pub and shop in Garmouth, coffee shop at Spey Bay. Nearest bike shops, Elgin and Forres.
