Cycle Steps
This is an off road route, mainly on trails and tracks, but with some road and NCR routes.
Trail through Roseisle forest (assorted trails and single tracks in forest, map available from Forestry Commission and at Roseisle forest picnic site). Follow signs for Moray Coast Trail past RAF base and trails leading to Findhorn Foundation (great coffee/cake shop). Take cycle way to Kinloss and right onto minor road to outskirts of Forres. Follow NCR 1 minor roads and tracks to Kintessack. Take road into Culbin Forest and follow forest trails west towards Nairn (trail map available at car park just into forest). Follow trails leading to Nairn East Beach Caravan Park, Coffee shop/bar at park entrance or over bridge near harbour. Return by same route or for circular route take short section of very busy A96 and on to minor road NCN 1 via Kintessack back to Forres. Cross A96 into Forres (assorted cafes and chip shop). Follow cycle way to Kinloss. Either return through Findhorn, coast trail and forest or follow B9089 to junction marked Roseisle Picnic Site, go left into forest and using OS or forest map follow trails towards Burghead. My route exits onto sports field and follows roads and streets back to caravan park.
