| 1. park or ride to burbo ..along coastal trail to hightown station ,then alongside altcar rifle range tight ,fast singletrack come to T junction on path ,right over railway left takes you into formby woods...carry on towards freshfield woods come out at squirrel reserve. straight up road towards station ,over level crossing do first left onto fishermans path.......keep going to level crossing cross now watch for trains .....over the golf links through the gates and immediate right and follow the path through the forest few nice decents and mini climbs to keep some excitement in it ....follow the path up till the coastal road at ainsdale and turn round and do it in reverse. |
