| This run was done Sunday 25th April 2010 with the weather warm but drizzly rain. It was excellent ! Hardest bit for me has got to be the climb out of Ramsbottom through Stubbins to the motorway roundabout phew, it felt like a steep one ! I am a returning cyclist who is trying to get fit and lose weight so I'm no athlete (doing it just 3 weeks now and loving it - Marin Bobcat Trail with offroad tyres) - this ride was a 6 for me - maybe 3-4 for you. |

There are plently of watering holes and convenience stores enroute - no bike shops on main route but Bury centre is close to latter stages - shut Sunday.
