| This route passes through some of the best countryside in the area with views over Rossendale from many angles. The roads are good condition and overall cyclist friendly - some are a bit narrow for my liking. There are petrol stations and convenience stores all along the route, a fishery at Bradshaw, cycle track at Stacksteads, half a dozen parks with cycle routes, bridle ways to explore and canal systems to veer off onto. What more can a route offer? Oh pubs and cafes and restaurants - all along the route too. |
