| This is a fantastic road route, mainly on country roads, but with short sections of A and B roads, that has a few hills. (Please ignore where line cuts corners across fields and follow the natural road line between the points, for example into and out of Denton) The route goes through lots of great villages, and I usually do it the route for the annual Northamptonshire Historic Churches ride, so there is a church in every village. You can also add distance by going into, rather than bypassing the villages. Depending on the wind direction there are also some great wind assisted or hard into headwind straight sections. |
