| Cycle Steps |
| This is a road route on mainly A class roads. It starts off with a steady warm up along Crompton Way (A58) and then downhill on the A676 into Bradshaw. This is followed by a long climb up onto the moors, then a long undulating drag across the open through Hawkshaw to Holcombe, before a downhill run into Ramsbottom. Turn sharp right over the M66 motorway at Edenfield and head back down the long straight of the A45 into Bury. The final leg along Bury & Bolton road, A58, is level and provides a cooling off period before getting back to the start point. |
