| Head out of Beardwood onto Preston New Road and ride along until you see the turn off to Stanley House. You turn off up onto Further Lane and follow the road along until you come back onto Preston New Road. Head up Preston New Road to Mellor Brook and turn off Preston New Road here. You head down through Mellor Brook until you come to the round-about, here you take the 3rd exit and enter a very steep and very long climb all the way through Mellor up a long climb drag of climb mostly in a stiff head wind. You take the first turn off on the right once you are on the top of Mellor and head down a short, fast decent. You arive at the Yew Tree Drive dual carriage-way and cross it turning up St. Lawrence Avenue up onto Quebec Road and turn right. Head along Quebec Road and turn off into Beardwood. | |

| Had a go at this today and loved it very much. Will hopefully do it again tomorrow morning and stop off at the bakery in Mellor if it's open. Lovely ride, thanks | ||
